Mist Eliminators
Most Chemical or petrochemical process gas streams contain various droplets.
They are caused by condensation, Eg. after cooling processes, generated by liquid injection in absorbtion or
gas scrubbing processes, or by carry-over in evaporator processes.
To eliminate the predominantly very small droplets inherent in these processes, Mist Eliminator systems are employed.

Elimination of TCI demisters are dependent on droplet sizes:

5 – 9 micron             99%
>10 micron               99.5%

Stock materials for mist eliminator commonly used: (others available, please ask)
Stainless Steel:	Grades AISI 302, 304, 316L, 321, 309, 314, 310S
Super Alloys:	Inconel 601, Incoloy DS, Hastaloy, Carpenter 20, Monel
Fibrous Filament:	'E' Glass, 'S' Glass, 'A' Glass, Basalt, Ceramic, Silica, Kevlar (para-aramid)
Others:	Aluminium, Copper, and Brass, Mild Steel (plain and galvanised), Polypropylene, Hostaflon, Polyethylene, and any other continuous filament material supplied as a wire or yarn

Most of the weight of entrained mist tends to be associated with the larger mist particles (larger than 5 - 10μm) thus providing greater that 99.99% weight removal.

All of TCI demisters are custom made to your specification. The units can be breakup into smaller parts for easy installation into tight spaces. Individual drawings are also provided and documented for each of the demisters units upon confirmation.

Our units are known among our customers for good durability. We have also a good track record for having negligible annual production errors for the past few years*.
